Tourists for a Weekend

Last weekend I spent most of my time seeing the typical touristy sights in London. My friends and I started out by walking over Westminster Bridge to see Big Ben, Parliament, and Westminster Abbey. We saw several street performers on the walk over.

Welcome to London, Where Nothing Makes Logical Sense

I can’t believe I’ve been living in London for almost a week now! It feels like I’ve been here for so much longer. My flight got in at 9 am on Saturday morning. My friend Jose and I successfully navigated the express train and the tube to get to our respective residences. It hasn’t been too difficult for me to figure out the underground system here. It’s just like the DC metro system, only with three times as many lines.

Goals Are Good

I made a list of everything I want to do while I’m in London! (and England) Some of it’s stereotypical tourist stuff. I searched for as many hidden corners of the city as I possibly could. I doubt I’ll make it to everything because I want to travel around Europe too, but as the post title says, goals are good to have!
